Griddy / Griddish Cipher Decoder

Decode 3-part Griddy glyph values, test variants, and switch between alphabetical or Griddish frequency-order mapping.

1) Decoder

Accepts triplets like 000 012 221, continuous digits like 000012221, or T/M/B letters like TMB BTM. Spaces, slashes, pipes, and newlines are preserved as word breaks.

2) Click-to-decode picker

For each symbol, choose its three positions. I label them Top/Middle/Bottom, but you can treat them as Left/Center/Right if the writing is rotated.

3) Variant solver

Use this when the symbol order may be backwards, mirrored, or read in the opposite direction. It tests several common Griddish mistakes.

5) Mapping settings

Choose a built-in mapping or edit the alphabet directly. Use 26 or 27 characters; the 27th is the spare symbol.

How to read/enter a symbol

Each glyph is treated as three choices, each choice having one of three positions. The tool represents those as 0, 1, 2. If your glyph is a path through Top, Middle, Bottom, enter 012. If the image is rotated, mentally rename Top/Middle/Bottom to Left/Center/Right. The variant solver can flip or reverse the triplets.
